Can I use AI music in my game?
Short answer: Yes, with the right plan. Paid plans of SOUNDRAW, Stable Audio and Beatoven license music for games. Suno's paid plans allow it for songs downloaded within your allowance, and ElevenLabs' self-serve plans allow it in Indie Games (under $500K lifetime revenue). AIVA needs Pro; its Standard plan only covers social video platforms. Udio's Terms ban commercial use and downloads. Free plans generally don't allow commercial use. Disclose AI music on Steam.

What it means for your game
- Safe defaults: a paid plan whose licence names games or commercial use in general.
- Watch out: download caps (Suno), the revenue threshold (ElevenLabs music), platform-limited licences (AIVA Standard), and Content ID registration bans (SOUNDRAW, Beatoven).
- Stable Audio's free plan: Stability's own sources conflict (pricing says non-commercial; a knowledge-base article says games are OK on Free). We mark it as conflicting.
- Steam: AI sound is shipped content, so declare it.
